THE BEGGINING

Raveolution started with the acid house. This music genre started in Chicago, reached Detroit and then the UK. But it wasn't only a music genre, it was also a youth movement, and a voice of protest. Friede, Freude, Eierkuchen (Peace, Joy, Pancakes) was the motto of Love Parade in Berlin, 1989. Techno united Berlin after the wall came down.

Fast foward to 2018, techno is still beinging used as a tool to protest. Georgia and Palestine for instance.
